Curriculum Vitae

Research:

My research program focuses on understanding long-term impacts of invasive weeds in rangeland systems, developing strategies to effectively manage invasive weeds, and restoration of rangeland sites impacted by weeds. Recent and ongoing research projects include:

  • response of desirable reclamation species to herbicide application
  • management of poisonous plant species in high-elevation rangelands
  • VLSA imagery to document post-fire dynamics of cheatgrass
  • targeted grazing for annual grass control
  • evaluating effects of sequential herbicide application and grazing management on cheatgrass dynamics
  • developing weed management strategies for reclamation of disturbed lands
